Google has just announced that it is going to release a new core update later today.
Google wrote on Twitter “Later today, that we are releasing a broad core algorithm update, as we mostly do a lot of times per year. It is known as the September 2019 Core Update.

Let’s prepare yourselves for another Google core search ranking update. Google only pre-announces larger updates, so this will be going a larger update.
According to Danny Sullivan expectations it starts rolling out in the next few hours and then take a few days to completely rollout:
I expect it to begin in a few hours; these typically take a few days to fully roll out. Yes, we’ll post when the rollout begins. We don’t post when it ends because there’s typically other updates that are always happening, too. But after a few days, as said.

What to do if you were badly affected by this core update? A simple answer is that Google already told us several times that there is no fix but as always Google try to put some advice on what to do if your site drops in organic rankings after a Google core update
